Pharmacy collection service

If you wish to avail of the pharmacy collection service whereby the pharmacy collect your script for repeat medication from the surgery and then you collect your medication directly from the chemist please state which chemist you would like to use when ordering repeat medication only.

Practice Radius

Following consultation with HSCNI, Errigal Medical Centre has reduced their practice radius from 12 to 10 miles 'as the crow flies'.

Flu Vaccination - now happening

We have now started our flu vaccinations for this year, if you are over 65, have a long term medical condition or are a carer, please contact the practice to arrange a time to have the vaccinations. This is something that is recommended every year. Please contact reception to see if you are eligable to avail of this service.  

 

Joint injection and Minor Surgery - Now Available in surgery

We are now able to offer joint injections and some minor surgical procedures within the practice such as removal of moles, cysts, ingrowing toenails etc. This saves time and is much more convient than having to be referred to hospital for these procedures. If you would like to discuss this further please discuss with one of the doctors and they will arrange the procedure if appropriate.

 

New INR monitoring available - immediate results!!

We have recently changed INR monitoring for our warfarin patients. Now we are able to check your INR, give you the result, advise on dosage and when it next needs checked during your attendance at the warfarin clinic - usually held on a Wednesday morning. The results will be noted in your yellow book which you will carry with you. Any problems can be discussed at the time. The new arrangements will be discussed at your next attendance and any queries can be addressed with any of the doctors or nurse McCartan.
